We are delighted that volunteer sessions at Open Return Garden at Weston train station start up again on Wednesday 2nd April 9.30am-12.30pm.
Starting as a scrap of overgrown land in 2022, the garden is now really starting to take shape and we have big ambitions for the garden this year. We have recently installed several new planters and a fabulous potting shed which will be a game changer so we can grow seeds!
As always, our focus is on informal planting and gardening with the wild things – wild flowers, pollinators, combining growing veg with flowers, and medicinal plants.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in coming along to find out more, do get in touch and come along for a taster session as the spring bulbs begin to bloom.
We also have tea on hand!
Thanks to a grant from @quartetcommunity which will support these sessions and our goal of growing our volunteer group to becoming a ‘friends of the Open Return Garden group.
